REGISTRATION
Registration will take place between 1000-2000hrs on Friday 16th April 2021 inside the Mount Maunganui Surf Club.
There is no registration on Saturday 17th April 2021 (race day).
Photo ID will be required at registration. You may not register on behalf of other athletes and all team entrants must register individually.
LATE ENTRIES
Late Entries can be made at the Event Registration, Mount Maunganui Surf Club, Friday 16th April 2021 10am - 8pm only (NOT available on Saturday). An additional $20 applies to all late entries.

VILLAGE MARQUEE
With a prime view of the course and start/finish line. Relax and enjoy the events’ atmosphere. Arrive to a fully-set-up marquee. Simply walk in to host and entertain your guests, teammates or colleagues.

Order additional furniture and equipment if required. Tables, chairs, bar learners, bean bags and iceboxes for example.
You are welcome to bring along up to 2 x teardrop flags and erect them within the boundary of your site. These are for the purpose of identification only. There is no sales, marketing or promotional activity allowed in this area.

RESULTS
REFUND POLICY
If you need to withdraw you are able to receive a 50% refund.
All requests MUST be received before 2 April 2021.
Please note we no longer offer transfers of entry to the following year's event.
ENTRY TRANSFER POLICY
If you are unable to attend and would like to transfer your entry to another athlete
this is available until 2 April 2021. There is a $25 fee for all entry transfers.

Change of Category Policy
You can change your event category up until 1 November at no charge.
Any changes after 1 November will incur an admin fee of $15. An additional cost will also apply if you are changing to an event category with a higher entry price.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY
Should we have to cancel the event due to Covid –19 the following policy applies:
We are well aware of the risks involved in forging ahead with the event given the uncertainty in the world right now. However, we want to assure you that we will have in place best-practice operating guidelines to ensure your event experience is a safe and enjoyable one. We know some of you will be feeling a little apprehensive about what lies ahead, so before you sign up to the event we want you to be clear on our answers to the questions below:
What if the event can’t go ahead on April the 16th and 17th for reasons relating to Covid-19?
Where possible we will reschedule to a future date. If this happens we will offer a transfer to the new event date.
What if I can’t make the new date or would prefer to withdraw?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of events and the costs incurred well ahead of the event we may not be in a position to offer any refunds, however, we will allow you to transfer your entry to another person for a $25.00 administration fee.

Safety is paramount.
Safety is paramount. We strive to continually improve our event in order to ensure it is as safe as possible, but we need your help!
Emergency Plans
We could have a fire, earthquake or similar emergency.
Follow all instructions from event personnel who may hold you at locations or lead you to safety.
What to do if you are injured / ill or just cannot continue:
1. Stay calm.
2. Contact the Race Communications Centre – the number is on your bib.
3. Stop the next athlete going past you and ask for help.
4. Apply first aid to yourself.
5. Wait for assistance.
We have event Medics who will get to you as soon as they can. Once a medic has assessed you, you will either be allowed to continue, transported by St John or picked up by one of the event ATVs and taken to the finish line.
DID NOT START/FINISH
If you have collected your registration pack and then due to unforeseen circumstances you are unable to start please let us know by ringing or texting 020 4173 9644. This is extremely important.
